Kindle Book

i purchased a book for my kindle & was in the middle of reading it when a message appeared telling me i need to delete the book & then download it again from my archives.  i have tried this several times, but have not had any success.  i'm wondering how i can get this particular book back on my kindle so i can continue reading it?
