If you don't know the password for your Kenwood KVT 617 DVD player, there are a few things you can try to reset the password and gain access to the device:
  1. Default Password: Try entering the default password "KCAR" or "3051" (without the quotes). These are common default passwords for Kenwood devices.
  2. Reset Button: Look for a small reset button on the front or back of the device. Press and hold the reset button for a few seconds to reset the device to its factory settings, which should reset the password as well.
  3. Contact Kenwood Support: If the above methods do not work, you can contact Kenwood support for assistance. They may be able to provide you with a new password or walk you through the process of resetting the device.

Please respond to my effort to provide you with the best possible solution by using the "Acceptable Solution" and/or the "Helpful" buttons when the answer has proven to be helpful.

A grinding sound in the Canon PC940 copier could indicate a few possible issues. Here are a few things you can try:
  1. Check for paper jams: A paper jam can cause the gears to grind against each other, resulting in a grinding sound. Check for any paper jams and clear them if necessary.
  2. Clean the scanner glass: If there is dirt or debris on the scanner glass, it can cause the scanner head to get stuck and make a grinding noise. Clean the scanner glass using a soft, lint-free cloth and some glass cleaner.
  3. Check the toner cartridge: A toner cartridge that is not installed correctly or is empty can cause a grinding noise. Remove the toner cartridge and check that it is properly installed and not empty.
  4. Check the drum unit: A worn-out drum unit can cause a grinding sound. Remove the drum unit and check for any signs of wear or damage. If the drum unit is worn out, it will need to be replaced.

If none of these solutions work, it may be best to have a professional technician take a look at the copier to diagnose and fix the issue.
