Jensen Vr 187 Menu Choice Errors
each time radio is cycled on off volume comes on full blast. While tuning radio the stations jumps 9 places instead of 5. I researched troubleshooting and believe the radio may be set to European frequency selection. Troubleshooting shows solution-Enter the menu scroll to European or USA. VOLUME SOLUTION-menu dial to desired volume, exit menu. Tried both, frequency Euope/USA never showed up on screen as an option. Set volume as directed. Did not change results. Troubleshooting also said press reset on face of radio. Did that, no change. Disconnected power to radio in attempt to reset. No change. Troubleshooting said may be caused by excessive noise at microcomputer. Suggested solution-reset button. This unit is installed in a Krystal class C on a Ford F550 chasis
