2006 Liberty Crd... How Do I Disengage The Brake Transmission Interlock?

I just had a rear brake caliper and rear brake pads replaced, and now the vehicle is stuck in Park.  What is causing the vehicle to be stuck in park, and How do I disengage the brake Transmission interlock? as a tempory fix...
