Th-g41 Sound But No Picture.

Check the following guide for the possible cause of a problem before contacting service.
Symptom
No power.
The power is on, but
the DVD/CD Receiver
does not work.
No picture.
There is no sound or
only a very low-level
sound is heard.
The playback picture is
poor.
The DVD/CD Receiver
does not start playback.
Loud hum or noise is
heard.

Cause
R26; The power cord is disconnected.
R26; No disc is inserted.
R26; The TV is not set to receive DVD signal
output.
R26; The video cable is not connected
securely.
R26; The connected TV power is turned off.
R26; The equipment connected with the
audio cable is not set to receive DVD
signal output.
R26; The audio cables are not connected
securely.
R26; The power of the equipment connected
with the audio cable is turned off.
R26; The audio connecting cable is damaged.
R26; The disc is dirty.
R26; No disc is inserted.
R26; An unplayable disc is inserted.
R26; The disc is placed upside down.
R26; The disc is not placed within the guide.
R26; The disc is dirty.
R26; A menu is on the TV screen.
R26; The Rating level is set.
R26; The disc is dirty.
R26; The speakers and components are
connected poorly.
R26; The DVD/CD Receiver is located too
close to the TV.
Correction
R26; Plug the power cord securely into the
wall outlet.
R26; Insert a disc. (Check that the DVD or,
audio CD indicator in the DVD display
is lit.)
R26; Select the appropriate video input
mode on the TV so the picture from
the DVD/CD Receiver appears on the
TV screen.
R26; Connect the video cable into the
jacks securely.
R26; Turn on the TV.
R26; Select the correct input mode of the
audio receiver so you can hear the
sound from the DVD/CD Receiver.
R26; Connect the audio cable into the
jacks securely.
R26; Turn on the equipment connected
with the audio cable.
R26; Replace it with new one.
R26; Clean the disc.
R26; Insert a disc. (Check that the DVD, or
audio CD indicator in the DVD display
is lit.)
R26; Insert a playable disc. (Check the
disc type, colour system and Regional
code.)
R26; Place the disc with the playback side
down.
R26; Place the disc on the disc tray
correctly inside the guide.
R26; Clean the disc.
R26; Press the SETUP button to turn off
the menu screen.
R26; Cancel the Rating function or change
the rating level.
R26; Clean the disc.
R26; Connect the speakers and
components securely.
R26; Move your TV away from the audio
