Jvc Home Theater Th-m505 Sub (only) No Remote

how do I power on my JVC home theater system Th-M505 subwoofer (only) without the remote? I took the back off and use my multimeter to check the power cord and it's getting power but the light on the front of the sun is not coming on and I'm seeing no signs of it being cut on. and to add icing on the cake I have no remote is there anyway I can get this thing to power up and use it
