Shredding Plate/blades Noisy

Our Badger 15SS-1 is only 4 months old. It has been working fine. All of a sudden the shredding plate/blades are very noisy. Inserted fingers into the drain and noticed the blades are loose and move around freely. Was told that is normal operation by Home Depot but it is still very noisy when it is turned on. It never made these grinding loud noises before. Request assistance.
