Any User Friendly Method Of Turning On Our Indiglo Thermostat Control

we find the instruction really difficult to follow

Indiglo thermostats are digital programmable thermostats from the Hunter company. The term "Indiglo" refers to the proprietary backlighting feature that allows the display screen to be easily readable at night. credit: Hunter. Hunter Indiglo thermostats feature a backlit display for easy nighttime viewing.

If the instructions are difficult to follow, you can try the following steps:
  1. Locate the "Program" button on the thermostat control
  2. Press and hold the "Program" button until the display lights up
  3. Release the "Program" button and the thermostat should be in the "Setup" mode
  4. Use the arrows to navigate to the "Indiglo" option and turn it on
  5. Save the changes and exit the setup mode
