Why Is Aux Flashing On My Hunter Thermostat

When your thermostat displays “Aux Heat”, this is simply a reminder that the second stage of heat is now ON. This occurs whenever the room temperature drops more than 2 degrees and activates the Second Stage of Heating (Aux Heat). This is a normal operation of your 2 Stage Heat Pump thermostat and it will not affect your thermostats performance at all.
