Sd Card And Sim Card Problem

I just got a Vision smart phone and put in a functioning sim car - it worked for an hour - then I took it out and put it back in and the phone no longer detects it. The sim card works in our other phone - but will not work in the Vision. Today I got a Sandisk 32gb micro card, inserted it but it is not detected by the phone. What's going on?
