Hoover Vhd862 Won't Spin
Can anyone shead any light on a problem with my VHD862 washer. It will fill, empty and the drum rotates during the wash cycle, however when it is time to spin the water pump empties the drum and the drum starts to rotatae slowly as if to even the load then starts to spin very slowly then stops after about 10 seconds. I have tried emptying the machine and running it empty to see if that helps but doesn't. The drum seems to move quite a bit when rotating yet both the drum, springs are still connected and not broken. Is there anything I can check before I set fire to it...... had it 2 years and it first went wrong after a week and the tech brought a new board after waiting a week for an appointment. It blew again by the time he got to the end of the road, had to book another visit taking yet another week to find it was the motor that had shorted.
Not impressed with this machine!
