The Spray Stopped Working Yesterday. Water Trickles Instead Of Spray. Why?

The spray stopped working and water barely trickles when I use the stair attachment. what can I do to fix this?

Before using the stair cleaning tool included with your Hoover machine, you may want to 'Prime the pump" as suggested on page 14 in your Model's Product Guide
