The Honeywell RTH7600D thermostat has a lock screen feature that can be used to prevent accidental or unauthorized changes to the thermostat's settings. To lock the screen, press and hold the "Menu" button on the thermostat for about 3 seconds until the lock icon appears on the display. To unlock the screen, press and hold the "Menu" button again for about 3 seconds until the lock icon disappears.
