Fuel Pump / Fuel Pump Housing Honda Civic 2003

Mechanic told me I had a gas leak caused by a crack in fuel pump and I had to replace fuel pump. Even on my receipt he gave me says fuel pump. I called the mechanic the next day for a question I had and then he changed what he said I needed to replace fuel pump housing. What is fuel pump housing? I have a Honda Civic LX 2003
