Hp Pavilion S3020 Slimline Won't Turn On

Suddenly will not turn on. The power supply has a green health lamp (led) lit, but when I push the button....nothing. What is the most common failure? I'm thinking power supply or mother board...is there a fuse or common component to check on the mother board?

Bad Motherboards

The slimline s3000 series were all prone to video failure and shorting out of the motherboard.

The motheboard uses a power connector exclusive to HP, so it can't be replaced by an aftermarket board.
