how can i remove the back of this monitor so i can clean the circuit board.

The service manual is not very helpful in this regard (no actual removal instructions) but it does show the parts diagram on page 11 which details where the screws that need to be removed are located. You can download the service manual here. (This manual is for the VS19 which is in the same family as the VS15.)
