Printer Problems

We have the printer installed on three computers.  However on one computer only the user is reporting the printer only prints out documents 50% of the time and the other 50% she gets printer erro messages.  These errors sometimes mean she does get a print at all, she gets the print in another language or black bar codes, or she gets multiple pages of blank papers.  Can you please advise as to why it is only the one machine?  Any ideas on what I can check to correct the problem?

If the same printer is used by all of the PC's via wireless the likely suspect is of course the PC. The problem is likely to be either a memory problem or a driver fault. I would in the first instance re-install the driver to the PC that has the issue. I would then run the same test print document from each PC in turn to verify the network is working OK. Check the troubled PC's disk space. If it is low or the temp folder is full of rubbish. Run defrag on the drive of the PC to allow the PC to have a larger contiguous space to use as the temp space for printing. Printing faults can usually be diagnosed by attempting larger and larger prints starting at the test page to see if it is a resource issue. Also run a check-disk from the command prompt to check for disk errors. If none of these help to resolve the problem raise another question but give some details on what attempts at solving the problem you have tried.
