Cannot Save File In Pdf Format, Others Ok

If you scanned text but cannot edit or save it, make sure you make the following selections during scanning,
From the HP scanning software select Document.
On the HP scanning software dialogue box, select a word processing program or Save To File from the Scan To...Setup dialogue box.
Note: if you selected Save To File, select a text file type from the File Type drop down.
