My Hp Printer 1200 Series Seems To Lose Memory.
The printer prints a couple of pages and then loses memory. The motor speeds up and continues to run until I unplug it. Then I have to choose the information to print again. What can I do about this?

Questions that need to be answered is:-
Does the paper feed OK or is it jamming?
Motors over-running points to possibly a loose pulley but unless you can take it apart you will not know.
Is the data being sent valid and the paper size in the printer the same as printer options on the PC.
Has the driver been corrupted. I would look at the software side before diving in with a screwdriver.
I have attached a link to HP that gives troubleshooting help and drivers etc.
