Has Anyone Had Their Request For More Info, Turn Into A Posted New Question?

If I ask a questioner for more info (such as a model number, etc) and I hit the "submit" button. Then the next page comes up and every thing looks normal. the next thing I see is a new email and my request has been posted as a new question (with no reference from the original question, so it makes no sense). I go back to the original question and there is no request posted there. Has this happened to anyone else?

That behavior must be a glitch. The normal behavior is that the request is transmitted to the questioner, whose answer (if given) will be conveyed to the answerer (you). Meanwhile the question will remain as unanswered, until an answer is posted.

If you have further concerns, your best bet is to ask Help Owl administration, at [email protected].
