Lid Stuck

I put lid on wrong way. The food shute is opposite handle and now it's stuck.

Put the lid on wrong, chute doesn't match and water didn't help. What other options do I have?

How do I get the lid off my Hamilton Beach food processor?

Pour near-boiling water into the bowl to just above the blade. This will loosen the bowl and melt any dried food material that may be causing it to stick. Press the pulse button a few times with the hot water in the bowl (and the lid on). Then remove the lid and try to remove the bowl again.
