My Hamilton Beach Food Processor Has Onions Stucktop Of The Lid That Fits On To

my Hamilton beach 70725 has onions stuck inside the lid that fits up to the handle. How do I get them out

You can try to put them below a direct pressure of water under the tap so you can rip them off from the lid but do this process carefully.
