I Cannot Get The Cover Off Of The Bowl. Therefore, I Cannot Remove The Bowl From
cover must move in a certain direction but I'm not sure which way. Processor was recently given to me with no manual.

How do you take the lid off a Hamilton Beach food processor?
Pour near-boiling water into the bowl to just above the blade. This will loosen the bowl and melt any dried food material that may be causing it to stick. Press the pulse button a few times with the hot water in the bowl (and the lid on). Then remove the lid and try to remove the bowl again.
