Microwave Sound Stays On After Cooking Cycle Is Done

My microwave sounds like its still running after a cooking cycle. The alarm goes off and the light goes off but it sounds like it's still running. I've had to plug it to get it to stop. I have unplugged it 3 times and it seems to "reset" itself after leaving it unplugged for awhile, but the issue continues. How can this be fixed?

Check these things first:
  1. Look for a Sound button. Seriously. ...
  2. Press and hold either 1 or 0. Sometimes manufacturers give these keys hidden, secondary functions.
  3. Press and hold the Stop or Cancel button. Like 1 or 0, this key might have a hidden function when held.
