Wpdh8800jww Washer With Smart Dispense

I have the GE Profile WPDH8800JWW front load washer with smart dispense pedestal. It is not dispensing the fabric softener. I've checked the settings and everything appears correct. What could be going on?

Check the dispenser compartment: Ensure that the fabric softener compartment is clean and free from any blockages or residue. Use a soft cloth or sponge to clean it if necessary.

Check the dispenser settings: Double-check the settings on your washer to make sure the fabric softener option is selected and the correct amount is set. Refer to the user manual for instructions on adjusting the dispenser settings.

Clean the dispenser drawer: Remove the dispenser drawer and clean it thoroughly. Sometimes residue or buildup can prevent proper dispensing. Rinse it with warm water and use a soft brush or toothbrush to scrub away any debris.

Diluted fabric softener: If you've recently started using a different brand or type of fabric softener, it's possible that it is more diluted than the previous one. This could affect how it dispenses. Try using a different fabric softener or adjusting the concentration if possible.

Clogged dispenser tubes: The dispenser tubes that carry the fabric softener from the compartment to the drum may be clogged. Check for any blockages and use a thin, flexible brush to clean them out.
