Ge Profile Fridge Side Not Cold Enough

How can I get my GE Profile PSCS5RGX (or PSCF5RGX or PSIC5RGX) side by side fridge to stay cold enough. I bought this fridge used from a friend. It condenses on the left wall of the fridge, i.e., the freezer wall.....temperature difference is freezer 4 degrees and although I lock set the fridge at 37 degrees it always resets itself to 50 or 54? What can I do differently?I don't have the water line hooked up because there is no water pipe in the wall behind the fridge. I capped off the hose so I don't think there's any problem there. I had a fan replaced and turned off the ice maker.
