What Caused Our Ge Jv1850smss Stopped Working While Heating Some Food?

WHILE HEATING FOOD, OUR MICROWAVE STOPPED;THE FAN AND SURFACE LIGHT DO NOT WORK, NO POWER AT ALL.  I CHECKED THE MAIN PANEL BREAKER AND THE OUTLET WHERE THE MICROWAVE IS PLUGGED IN. THEY BOTH WERE WORKING.  IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD CHECK?
