Hot Cooktop Indicator Light.

Our Hot Cooktop Indicator light will stay on well after the 150 degrees temp .It will not go off. What is the problem, and how can we correct it. Had the Range since 7-28- 09.It was included in the sale of our new home. Please let us know what to do. Thanks.
