Stops Working After Three Seconds And Smells Like Metal

After approximately 2-3 seconds  the microwave shuts off (beeps like it's done), and it smell like metal burning.  I tried it several times and it keeps doing the same thing.

Based on your description, I believe that your GE JES2251SJ appliance has an overheating or short circuit problem. I suggest that do not plug in or use your appliance. Please bring this product to the nearest repair center in your area. It may  cause explosion, fire or other harmful accidents.
