Ge Jes1142sj Microwave Cooking Complete Reminder.

Isn't the GE JES1142SJ microwave supposed to beep periodically after cooking? Mine beeps 3 times when cooking is done and never again.  I can't tell you how many cups of coffe ot tea have been left in there.  My other GE microwave beeped every 30 seconds for a few minutes until you opened the door.
