Problems With Ge Jes0738dpww Microwave Oven?

Is there a known defect in or recall for this item manufactured in Summer 2011? The "Start/Pause" and "Clear" buttons do not work at all on 2 new units, right out of the box! I returned one and now purchased a 2nd of this same model Microwave ovens from a local retailer, and both have the same problem.
