Just Bought A Apel70lt And The Bucket Fills Up But The Pump Does Not Work

I added the hose and put it in my wash tub. The unit fills then shuts down and then bucket full light comes on and it just stops. I pressed the pump on/off button and nothing happens. Do I need to return the unit to HomeDepot?

It turns out that you cannot press the PUMP button when the reservoir is already full. You must activate this feature when the reservoir is empty. This is NOT documented in the instruction manual.

Did you try to clean the drain hole from the evaporator - a pigtail plastic tubing that tend to clogged up with slime. You may want to contact the warranty department should the issue prove to persist.
