Built In Microphone Not Working
This used to be my moms laptop she was able to skype and everything on it with no issues with the microphone, but when I went to factory reset it does not work anymore and I am in a speech class and kinda need it. Any tips on how to fix it?

Since you have restore your Gateway NV-53 to its factory settings, you also need to reinstall the audio driver software for the microphone and speaker. The audio driver for this laptop can be downloaded from the link below.
