Midgate Window Of 2004 Gmc Envoy Xuv Will Not Move Up!

Someone loaded the cargo bay of the above described car with the midgate partially down and something under it such that when loaded it behaved like a tetertotter and applied an upforce at the rear of the midgate and damaged something such that the window will not move up. Any ideas. Thanks!
