Frigidaire Dual Gas-electric Ples389ec Oven Door Locked After A Self-cleaning.

The oven door can not be opened. The range is gas and it works. I have pulled the power several times and restarted with no luck. The clear button does not respond and I can not set clock or do any other commands . The buttons respond with a beep indicating they are receiving the command. Is there an emergency method to open the door?

These ovens have a internal reset device that needs to be reset.
To reset it unplug the power cord from the wall then you will have to wait for 1 hour and after the hour is over plug it back in and you may hear a click within about 5 minutes. If so press the cancel and now you will be able to open the door and resume normal use.
