Receiving error code f31 on range/oven PLES389ECB. What does this mean?

You have a shorted out connection detected in the unit. Check resistance at room temperature, if less than 500 ohms, replace RTD sensor probe. Check for shorted sensor probe harness between EOC and probe connector.
