Front Load Washer Rubber Liner

Can rubber liner be removed for proper cleaning and removing money from under tub?

Hello michael39150 - The rubber gasket can be removed; however it is only recommended to be done so by a professional. Yes, to check for a restriction in the drain line it is recommended to clean the coin trap. The instructions may or may not be specifically for your unit, however these are generics instructions that I found.

1. Unplug the washer

2. Pull the washer out to tilt it back so you can

   reach the screws below the front panel and

   remove it. (You will need something to catch

   the water once the hose is removed from

   the bottom of washer)

3. Loosen the bolt with the sliver clamp on the

   bottom of the washer. The water will begin to

   come out while your loosening the clamp. (Do

   not remove any GREEN clamps)

4. Once the water is out, you can stick your hand

   inside the hose to clean it out.
