Switch Replacement Procedures

I believe we have the GLEC36S8EB cooktop. It was purchased over 10yrs ago. It has four cooking surfaces and one heating surface. Two of the switches (front left and front right) have stopped working. Front right won't shut off Front left indicator shows on, but it does NOT come on at all I need to purchase these two switches and instructions on how to install them.

Hello davidcrockett, thank you for your post!

I understand that you want to replace the switches on your Frigidaire cooktop, GLEC36S8EB. I have included a parts breakdown of your appliance where you can locate part numbers for the switches. These intricate parts do require precision and patience, therefore when replacing the exchange of electrical components or removing them from your appliance, I always suggest seeking professional assistance.
