Why Does Ice Built Up Around The Fan In The Freezer?
Once this happens the freezer makes a loud noise

Often when an ice buildup occurs around the fan, it is because more than likely the ice maker fill tube is flowing and leaking down the back wall onto the fan. Confirm that the fill tube is properly in place. Simply defrost the freezer by turning the appliance off and leaving the door open for 30 minutes. After defrosting the freezer, make sure there is nothing in the back of the appliance blocking the drainage way. Adjust the freezer dial to colder and the fresh food to cold. This should resolve your problem.
