Hi Sarah -

Fabric softener dispensers are not available in all models, but if it is in your model, it will be in the center of the your unit, right on top of the agitator.

To separate the cap from the cup, put your thumb into the dispenser and push against the side of the cup. Add liquid softener to the dispenser, following fabric softener label directions. Add water to bring liquid to the fill line on the dispenser cap. Remember to remove the dispenser from the agitator after each use, and rinse both the cap and the cup with warm water. After cleaning, push the cap and cup firmly together. Replace dispenser by lining up the ribs and grooves and snapping it back into position.

More information about your specific model can be found in the owner's manual. Hope this helps!

Best of luck!
