Door Alarm On Fghg2344m5

The  door alarm on our brand new Gallery refrigerator goes on frequently.  The only solution we have found is the grasp the handles and jerk the doors together.  Perhaps this activates the magnetic sensor.  We immediately upon purchase had trouble with the light turning on, apparently for the same reason.  The distributor adjusted the doors up and down, which helped the light issue, but the alarm recurs all too frequently.  Can the doors be moved closer together, or is there some other solution?  We would also be more than happy to deactivate this troublesome feature completely.

Hi justinshellaway – Yes the doors can be adjusted but the alarm cannot be fully disable, however since you have just recently purchased the refrigerator I would strongly suggest contacting the manufacturer directly to have a professional diagnose the main control board as well.
