Oven Problems...

I have slide stove and oven model FGES3045KFE for a year....when I bake a cake on bake cycle or convection the front will bake and the back of the cake is still not done...I called a service tech and he said it was the seal around the door.....WELL I just baked cupcakes and the front ones are done and the ones in the back are not done they fell....I am at wits in with this new stove please help...the service man said I need to rotate my cakes...You cannot do that and I never have....Please help....I do have a service contract but hate to call this man out...he does not know what he is talking about...
