Is It Normal For Coils To Frost Up In Upright Freezer After Just One Month Of Use?

Good Afternoon hascarolh! Yes it is normal for the unit to frost over time considering this unit is a "manual defrost" meaning it will not go into a defrost mode on its own. You would be required to safely unplug the unit from the outlet and let it sit for a few hours; or until you notice the unit unfreezing. Then plug the unit back in and it should start normal cooling cycles again. It is a good recommendation to defrost the unit once a month if it is not needed before then.
