The Temp. Display

My new FFhs2311LW fire is flashing H then 1. Why?

If your Frigidaire refrigerator, FFHS2311LW is flashing letter “HI”, it is advising you that the temperature condition in the section is too high. Depending where HI is displayed, the temperature is either higher than 26°F (in the Freezer Section) or 54°F (in the refrigerator compartment). The door could have been accidently left open or your refrigerator could not be cooling properly for several other reasons. Once the temperature drops below the above mentioned temperatures, the HI should go away. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your refrigerator status has changed successfully.
