Digital Readout Stays At 95%

The digital readout stays at 95% the unit is running and working to dry the basement. However the readout stays at 95% all the time. Why?

The unit will not change the display to what the current humidity is in the room. It will only display what you have it set for. If the unit turns off, then it has reached the setting you have designated for it.
