Make sure the door switches are being activated by the door latch. Run the WATER SERVICE TEST to verify control and component operation. To start the Water Service Test all cycles must be cleared and all of the lights out on the console, turn the Cycle Selector to the Rinse Only setting, press and hold the Heat Dry and the Start/ Cancel pads simultaneously for 3 seconds or less the test will start by powering the water valve. (This is explained in further detail in the units' tech sheet normally found behind the units' kick panel.) Check electrical connections at the connector. Check for power on the black wire from the door switch to control disconnect (pin location 3). Adjust, repair, or replace door latch assembly. If all fails call in the technician.

OPTIONS2: it sounds like the Control Lock was accidently pressed. When the light is on, the control is locked and no cycles can be selected or started. To de-select the Control Lock, press and hold the heat dry key or press down on the lock icon for approximately twenty seconds. If issue persists, you may reset the dishwasher by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. The dishwasher should resume to normal operations.

Why won't my Frigidaire dishwasher won't start?

Water Supply Issues

If your Frigidaire dishwasher won't start but has power, sometimes a water supply issue may be the cause. ... Make sure the water supply valve is turned on. If the valve is stuck it may need to be replaced. Check the water inlet hoses to make sure there are no kinks or damage

ow do I get my Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher to start?

To start a new wash cycle or resume a cycle after adding a dish, press the START button and immediately close the dishwasher door. If the door remains opened for more than 4 seconds after pressing the button, the unit will not start.

Why is my Frigidaire not starting?

Your Frigidaire commonly does not start because you have not completely closed the door. Push the door in place, and then press the "Start/Resume" button. If the door won't close, push in any racks sticking out too far, and move any dishes blocking the door. Check the door gaskets, and clean them if they are dirty.
