Hi Mainman542002,

I understand your dryer is displaying eroor code E64. This particular error code could potentially indicate a wirind issue or could also be a thermal limiter issue. Before replacing the thermostat, I would encourage you to have a certified tech pinpoint the exact problem before unnecessarily taking apart your dryer. I will, however provide you with a link to this particular dryer model, which can offer you access to all manuals related to it here: http://b2b.frigidaire.com/support/ResultsPage.asp?strModel=+FASE7073LW&User=&Search=Search

Hope this helps.

-Best Regards-

The sensor is located on the exhaust tube inside the dryer. UNPLUG THE DRYER! take off the back and you may have to pull the top and sides make note how the parts disassemble so you can get it together again. The sensor is a little black piece with two wires hooked up to it. Take off the wires it doesn't matter which wire goes where. Unscrew the two screws holding the sensor. Pull it out. Put the new one in and assemble in reverse order.
