First Use, Not Working

i set up the unit for the first time.  plugged it in, unit beepped, pushed power button, nothing happens. what is going on

This is unit is designed for 115 volts and 12.0 amps to be used for a performing unit. Please make sure you have not tripped any household breakers, that you have in on a correct outlet, and that the GFI plug has been reset. You may want to try the unit in different outlets to make sure you are not overloading the circuit breaker or fuse for any reason. Also make sure you do not see any debris or materials blocking vents or coils. If this is a new purchase, and you still do not notice a difference in the performance, please contact your purchasing location for an exchange.
