Washer Not Stopping Hot Water

HAD WASHER INSTALLED YESTERDAY, WHEN THE INSTALLERS GOT WASHER UP AND RUNNING THEY NOTICED THAT HOT WATER KEPT RUNNING EVEN AFTER TELLING IT TO STOP. TOLD US TO CALL PLUMBERS, PLUMBERS SAID THAT IT IS THE WASHING MACHINE AND NOT THE PIPES. HOW TO FIX THIS
