Help...my Machine Is Stuck In Pause

I have a Frigidaire Affinity washer, FAFS4474LW that is not working. It's lite, the selection dial works, all the selections can be chosen. Once you try to start the cycle the LCD goes from sensing to pause. Won't start in pause I have already unplugged it for several hours, and have checked my circut breaker. HELP!

Hi jkayromano, thank you for your inquiry! Error code “PAU” commonly indicates that the door is not securely latched or the cycle has been interrupted. Since you have already try to reset it and the issue persists, then the washer could possibly have a faulty door latch, a wiring failure or experiencing a communication error with the control board. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose the washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.
